City planners will gather neighborhood priorities along Coney Island and McDonald avenues.
Brooklyn residents can join a South of Prospect planning walk scheduled for Saturday, November 14, with November 21 as its rain date. Community Board 14’s October 9 notice says City Planning staff and partner agencies will lead the tours to hear residents’ priorities.
The proposed neighborhood plan focuses on parts of Coney Island and McDonald avenues. It considers housing near public transportation, support for local businesses, and improvements to streets and public spaces. The board’s walkshop notice includes an RSVP link for residents interested in taking part.
