Residents can weigh in on the draft scope of the environmental review; the meetings do not approve construction. [1]
NYC DOT has scheduled two public scoping meetings on proposed BQE Central repairs in Brooklyn Heights and Downtown Brooklyn. The study covers about 1.5 miles, from Atlantic Avenue to Sands Street. [1]
The in-person session is November 10 at City Tech's auditorium. An online session follows November 12 on Zoom and requires advance registration. Both cover the same draft scope. [1]
Scoping defines which effects an environmental review should study. Residents can also submit comments through DOT's online form or by email to BQECentral@dot.nyc.gov. [1]
