Roosevelt Avenue Bridge closes eastbound lanes for overnight detours
One westbound lane will stay open while eastbound drivers use the Northern Boulevard Bridge. [1]
Eastbound drivers will use the Northern Boulevard Bridge during the 11:59 PM to 5 AM detour window, according to NYC DOT. One westbound lane on Roosevelt Avenue Bridge will stay open. [1]
The restrictions run from November 11 through December 22, 2026. Crews will continue steel repairs as part of DOT’s Roosevelt Avenue Bridge rehabilitation project over the Van Wyck Expressway in Queens. [1]
DOT does not specify a weekday pattern for the detour. Its advisory also warns that listed dates, times and routes are subject to change. [1]
