The agency outlined work at the Stone House restaurant and checks of drainage outlets into park waters.
The Parks Department says it will continue investigating identifiable drainage outlets into Clove Lakes Park’s waters and follow state environmental recommendations. The commitment appears in the agency’s response to Staten Islander, published October 21.
Parks said the Stone House concessionaire would carry out sewage-related repairs at the restaurant building. At the time of that statement, work was expected to begin in the coming weeks and finish before winter ended. Parks said it would help move permits forward.
