NYFE Summary

The congregation belonged to a Christian movement founded in England that expected Christ’s return. It worshipped elsewhere in New York before commissioning its own building. The group retained this church until 1995, when it gave it to a Lutheran congregation.

Red brick and terra cotta rise above a brownstone base. A rose window fills a pointed arch in the central tower. A winged lion and an eagle below it represent the evangelists Mark and John.
