NYFE Summary

Rather than build a new church, the congregation moved its existing building from the Park Avenue area to Fifth Avenue. The move followed changes in the neighborhood brought by elevated railroads and a growing population.

Rough granite walls support steep roofs and a tall tower beside the south transept. A small rose window and narrow pointed windows fill the main gable, above an entrance set deep within carved arches.
