NYFE Summary

This former movie palace was one of Loew’s Wonder Theatres. Its auditorium combines richly decorated walls, arches and a patterned ceiling. Harold Rambusch created the interior decoration.

The final film of its original cinema era was 2001: A Space Odyssey in 1969. A spiritual organization then bought the building and kept it in use. Today, ticketed concerts, films and other performances bring audiences into the historic theater.
