Hudson Yards
Hudson Yards combines development above the West Side rail yards with new public spaces and older buildings. Vessel stands in the Public Square and Gardens; the High Line curves around the yards, and Bella Abzug Park extends north from West 33rd Street.

About Hudson Yards
The Eastern and Western Rail Yards occupy blocks between West 30th and West 33rd streets. Planning for the broader Hudson Yards area paired redevelopment with new infrastructure, including the 7 subway extension. The 34th Street station opened in 2015.
The guide?s approximate split follows West 30th Street, although descriptions of Chelsea and Hudson Yards overlap and the city?s redevelopment area extends beyond this guide. On the north side of that line, the Lithuanian Alliance Building is a reminder of an older West 30th Street.
