Midwood rezoning for 229 homes heads to public hearing
Written testimony is accepted through November 13 at testimony@brooklynbp.nyc.gov.
A proposed nine-story building at East 14th Street and Locust Avenue would include 57 affordable homes. The Brooklyn Borough President's office will hear the Midwood application on November 10, 2026.
The hearing begins at 6 p.m. in the Borough Hall Courtroom, 209 Joralemon Street. Residents may speak in person or through Webex. Advance registration is preferred but is not required; speakers generally have two minutes.
Applicant E 14 Realty Holdings LLC seeks zoning changes through ULURP, the city's public review of land-use applications. Plans also include ground-floor community facility space. The building remains a proposal, not an approved development.
