Lincoln Towers turns a Knicks moment into Halloween art

Three neighbors made the outdoor installation after years of decorating their building’s hallway.

At 150 West End Avenue, a basketball scene recreates OG Anunoby’s winning tip-in against the Spurs during this year’s NBA Finals. Jerseys, a referee and familiar superfans fill out the display.

David Baskin and Gary Mindlin began the tradition in 1999, later taking it outside with Paul Baker during the pandemic. Management supplies ladders and tools for their annual project.
