Fort Wadsworth’s start area admits registered runners and guides only.
The New York City Marathon returns to Staten Island on Sunday, November 1, marking 50 years since the race expanded to all five boroughs.
New York Road Runners says only registered entrants and guides may enter Fort Wadsworth and the start area. Supporters should not plan to accompany runners into the start villages.
NYRR lists the first mass-start wave at 9:10 a.m. and the fifth at 11:30 a.m. Runners should check the wave, color and corral on their race bibs; start times may change. All times are New York time.
