NYFE Summary

The Munson Steamship Line occupied the building’s offices, followed by the New York Cocoa Exchange. Its narrow, irregular site gave the building a flatiron-like outline rather than a rectangular street front.

Buff brick rises toward a crown of green, cream and russet terra cotta. Beaver reliefs refer to the building’s original name and to the street beside it.
