NYFE Summary

Hunter’s art and art-history department uses this gallery for exhibitions based on historical research. Shows revisit artists and movements that have received less attention. The gallery also presents work by graduating BFA students each spring.

A 2026–27 exhibition brought together multimedia histories made by students and community groups in more than 20 cities. Their accounts traced environmental harm and the ways residents responded.
