NYFE Summary

The parish combined Anglo-Catholic worship with mission work and nursing care for its neighbors. The buildings around the church provided space for that work as well as for its clergy. Behind the medieval-looking walls, a steel frame supported the large church.

The main front has a pointed entrance, a large circular window and carved figures by J. Massey Rhind. Slender pinnacles rise at the edges of the facade. These details give the church a different outline from the tall commercial buildings around it.
