NYFE Summary

This was the New York headquarters of the Cunard steamship line, part of the shipping businesses once clustered around Bowling Green. Its lower front uses carved maritime details to identify that connection. Large street-level arches reflect the different spaces planned inside.

Look up for the recessed columned sections and the projecting ends of the limestone front. The former booking hall survives as an event space, with painted ceilings and marble columns.
