NYFE Summary

Workers here made brushes, ground and mixed paint, and prepared products for storage and shipping. After the company sold its works in 1918, the building became warehouse space serving nearby piers. It was converted to apartments in 1984.

Large windows sit between a grid of brick piers and horizontal bands. Shaped brick and terra-cotta details add texture around the openings and roofline. These walls preserve part of the waterfront neighborhood’s manufacturing history.
