NYFE Summary

Clothing firms filled this building when the Garment Center was expanding. Its decoration advertised that purpose through figures holding fabric shears, brushes, mirrors and spindles.

Peacocks flank the entrances, and angels open a curtain around the building's name. Ribbed piers lead toward the upper setbacks. Restoration in 2013–14 recreated the altered lobby entrance and its peacock panels.
