NYFE Summary
Customers once came here for antiques, reproduction furniture and complete interior fittings, including wall panels and ceilings. The company went bankrupt in 1938, and the floors were later leased to art and design businesses.
Small shields above the entrance show chairs, tables and the store’s initials. The tall gray terra-cotta front imitates stone, with pointed arches chosen to complement St. Patrick’s Cathedral across the street.
