NYFE Summary

The Women’s Hotel Company sold shares to finance housing for professional women. Private bedrooms were combined with shared parlors, a library and a roof deck.

From 1907, the Interurban Women’s Suffrage Council had its headquarters here. The two street fronts retain decorated window tops and small iron balconies, framing a building designed for women living independently in the city.
