NYFE Summary
The New York Times combined editorial offices and newspaper production here. Successive additions made room for the paper's expanding work as the surrounding district became known for theaters and entertainment.
A small tower with a steep roof breaks the long street facade. Other sections use different window patterns and wall treatments, making the expansion visible from the sidewalk. This is the former West 43rd Street headquarters, separate from both One Times Square and the newspaper's later Eighth Avenue tower.
