NYFE Summary

Tire showrooms and automobile suppliers once lined this stretch of Broadway. U.S. Rubber put tire sales on the lower floors and company offices above, making the tower part of that commercial strip. Its headquarters later moved to Rockefeller Center.

Marble fronts curve around the corner below a wide copper cornice. Narrow stone piers and metal panels connect the windows in long vertical strips. The lower floors were remodeled for a bank after the tire company left.
