NYFE Summary

Harvard alumni organized the club to keep their college connections in New York. They first gathered in rented rooms and at Delmonico’s before commissioning a permanent clubhouse.

The red-brick front places pale columns around a tall central window, with Harvard’s carved shield above it. On West 45th Street, huge arched windows light the great lounge. The two fronts show different sides of the same clubhouse.
