NYFE Summary
The building was planned to attract engineering businesses but drew a wider range of tenants. Haskins & Sells used it as its main office from 1920 to 1930. Anti-suffrage organizations rented rooms here, followed by branches of the League of Women Voters.
Two-story arches form the base of a pale-brick tower. Terra cotta, marble details and patterned metalwork surround the openings. An inscription records the accounting firm’s name and the years of its founding and purchase of the building.
