NYFE Summary

Producer Henry B. Harris created this house to showcase his stars and productions. His career ended when he died on the Titanic. The theater later served several other uses, including film exhibition and live music, before returning to Broadway productions.

The street front has carved theatrical masks, lyres and decorative iron balconies. Inside, the lobby retains Tiffany glass ceiling domes, and glass mosaics decorate the auditorium. These details can be seen as part of a ticketed performance visit.
