NYFE Summary
The circus showman made this his home when much of the surrounding area was still rural. He had joined P. T. Barnum in 1881 and took major responsibility for running their combined circus.
A round corner tower rises to a pointed roof, with smaller turrets around the house. Curving gables, porches and tall chimneys give each side a different outline. Look for carved leaves and the crest above the entrance.
