NYFE Summary

The society grew from exchanges between Japanese and American businesspeople in 1907. Its work broadened into arts, education and public discussion. The present headquarters brings those programs together around indoor gardens, a reflecting pool and a waterfall.

A gallery and a 260-seat theater support exhibitions, films and live performances. Gallery hours apply while an exhibition is on view, so check the current program before visiting. Film and performance tickets are sold separately from gallery admission.
