NYFE Summary
The bank used masonry and iron wherever possible to reduce the risk of fire. A city building official praised that approach soon after it opened. The building later passed to a Ukrainian church, which bought it in 1937.
Two decorated fronts meet at the corner. Stone columns and a small balcony frame a central upper window, while the steep roof contains curved-top dormers. Horizontal stone bands tie the two sides together.
