NYFE Summary
A lighting company gave this narrow building its name. Its founders combined a showroom and production space with apartments above. During construction, the architect moved his office here and took on the contractor’s role himself.
White steel beams overlap across the glass front, forming rectangles at different depths. Reserved visits offer a closer look at the lighting showroom, exhibitions and a duplex apartment. The apartment shows how living spaces fit together inside the narrow structure.
