NYFE Summary

The club first rented a few rooms for its work in printing, typography and book collecting. Its new house placed a lecture and exhibition hall on the first floor and a library on the third. Growing collections and programs later took the society to a larger home uptown.

Roman brick and stone frame two broad ground-floor arches. The central window above has five concentric rings of brick, with narrow windows at its sides. A row of small columns divides the top-floor windows across the front.
