NYFE Summary

The parish began as a church for downtown residents with summer homes in Bloomingdale. As the Upper West Side filled with new residents, it replaced a wooden church with this larger building. The Tiffany Glass and Decorating Company supplied its chancel decoration.

A tall square bell tower stands beside the nave. Rough limestone walls, uneven transepts and a tiled roof surround a small courtyard. An arcade connects the church with the parish buildings.
