NYFE Summary
The parish’s first church stood near the Harlem Railroad depot. When the railroad bought the site for its expansion, the congregation moved here. Growing attendance later led it to extend the church north to the next street.
Round arches frame the doors and windows on the original front. Rows of smaller blind arches and a rounded central pediment continue the pattern. The later rear entrance has a gable, niches and a polygonal tower.
