NYFE Summary

Dave Herman began displaying objects in his apartment window in 2002. Passersby could press a button to hear him explain the collection. Four years later, it moved into this storefront and opened as a community museum.

The displays include subway tokens, Statue of Liberty postcards, geological core samples and terracotta saved from buildings. Changing exhibitions also present collections made by local residents.
