NYFE Summary

The Hawaiian Room operated here from 1937 to 1966, presenting Hawaiian music, dance and food. The hotel originally marketed its rooms to out-of-town visitors at moderate rates.

Red brick piers rise toward stepped, pyramidal-roofed towers. Carved eagles, griffins and figures decorate the limestone base, which was reconstructed in the 1980s to approximate its original appearance.
