NYFE Summary
The Beverly offered apartment-style hotel living with outdoor terraces. Its rising profile attracted Georgia O'Keeffe, Alfred Stieglitz and Charles Sheeler as subjects for their work. The hotel later took the name Benjamin.
Setbacks lead to an octagonal tower with round wheel windows and a tiled pavilion. Pelicans, owls and carved heads appear among the lower ornament. Much of the street-level base was reconstructed during later renovations.
