NYFE Summary

The hotel brought ideas from Florida's resort architecture to a tight Manhattan site. Bending the corridors allowed more rooms to fit into the plan. The curving upper floors also stood free on three sides, giving each room a view.

Pale green glazed brick, darker mosaic tile and green glass emphasize the curves. A projecting sign made from stacked disks was another way to catch attention from the street.
