NYFE Summary

The congregation brought its triple entrance portal from an earlier church on Madison Avenue. The carved stone and bronze doors were incorporated into this larger building. Above them, brick, limestone, marble and colored tiles give the exterior a varied surface.

The church and adjoining community house developed alongside programs for worship, music and social service. Mosaics and stained glass decorate the interior. The tiled dome and lower community-house terraces can also be studied from Park Avenue.
