NYFE Summary

The developer persuaded the city to move and widen Thames Street so the two buildings could have matching full-block sites. The long, narrow footprints gave their offices more outside windows.

Carved dragons, shields, pointed window frames and bronze tracery connect the office fronts with nearby Trinity Church. A roof-level bridge was added between the buildings in 1912.
