NYFE Summary

Wheatsworth made whole-wheat foods and developed the Milk-Bone dog biscuit. This factory expanded its Manhattan baking capacity before the business became part of National Biscuit Company. It survives from a waterfront district once filled with industrial buildings.

Wheat stalks decorate panels around the doors, linking the facade to the products once made inside. Green circles and geometric bands run across the upper and lower walls. Large groups of factory windows sit between the pale brick piers.
