NYFE Summary
The clubhouse was part of Terminal City, the development made possible by covering the railroad tracks around Grand Central. Its location suited members arriving on the New Haven Railroad, which connected the city with Yale.
A stone base supports a tall brick body with pale ornamental trim. The large upper windows and projecting cornice give the clubhouse a presence beside the terminal's much larger office buildings.
