NYFE Summary

The company engraved and printed banknotes, securities and other protected documents here. The plant combined workrooms for engravers with broad pressrooms.

Large windows and sawtooth roofs brought daylight to the work. Outside, long brick arcades lead toward a crenellated tower. The fortress-like design also reflected the need to protect valuable printing work.
