NYFE Summary

The zoo calls this courtyard Astor Court on its visitor map. It groups several of the zoo’s early animal buildings around the Sea Lion Pool. The Zoo Center was designed to resemble a palace, giving the animal house an unusually formal entrance.

The court still connects several exhibits. The Zoo Center houses reptiles, including Aldabra tortoises and Komodo dragons, as well as white rhinos. The Aquatic Bird House, Birds of Prey and Madagascar! exhibit are nearby. Use the zoo’s current map to find the entrances and plan a route between them.
