NYFE Summary

The heating-equipment company used this tower as its headquarters. Black brick reduced the contrast between the walls and dark windows, making the surface appear more continuous. Gold details mark the upper setbacks and crown.

From Bryant Park, the tower’s dark outline and stepped roof are easy to see. At street level, polished black granite and bronze frame the entrance. The building now houses the Bryant Park Hotel.
