NYFE Summary

BRIC began with the Celebrate Brooklyn! festival and later took on community television and visual-art programs. It built public-access television studios in the former Strand Theater during the 1990s. The larger arts and media center opened to the public in 2013.

Visitors can see changing art exhibitions and attend performances or drop-in programs. A glass-walled television studio makes part of the production space visible from public areas. The building also contains classrooms and media facilities, where workshops and equipment access have their own arrangements.
