NYFE Summary
Manufacturers displayed their products in exhibit halls, with sales staff and shipping services supplied through the Bush Terminal Company. A buyers’ club offered dining rooms, lounges and business facilities for visiting merchants.
Narrow vertical piers give the tower its height, while patterned brickwork on the side walls creates the illusion of deeper columns. The upper setbacks were designed before the city adopted its setback zoning rules.
