NYFE Summary

Local Episcopalians organized the parish to have a church within walking distance and reachable in winter. The congregation later replaced its earlier buildings with a stone church and a large parish house for community activities.

A square tower rises above the crossing of the church’s wings. Rough granite walls meet pale window tracery. Covered walkways connect the church, parish house and rectory around a courtyard.
