NYFE Summary

The Dominican friars rejected an earlier proposal for a replacement church and gave their chosen architect freedom to develop a new design. Lee Lawrie made the Crucifixion sculpture above the entrance. A planned tower over the crossing was never built.

A large rose window sits between octagonal towers beneath an open arcade. Buttresses and pointed windows continue along the side, below a green copper roof. The neighboring priory, school and Holy Name Society building form a larger Dominican complex.
