NYFE Summary

Sports facilities were stacked through this tower rather than spread across a large ground-level club. Members could use different floors for exercise, swimming and social rooms.

The club created the award first presented to college football player Jay Berwanger in 1935. It was renamed the Heisman Trophy the following year. The stepped brick exterior marks the former home of that institution; the award ceremony no longer takes place here.
