NYFE Summary

Residents could use studios, rehearsal rooms and concert space while pursuing careers in the arts. Sylvia Plath lived here and later drew on that experience in The Bell Jar.

The brickwork changes color and texture across the stepped front. Rows of arches near the top surround a small, chapel-like crown. Recessed courts and setbacks break the tall building into several parts.
