NYFE Summary
Horses and carriages were hired and boarded here before the building became a riding academy. Ramps let horses reach stalls on different floors, and an elevator carried carriages upstairs for storage.
Three large arches mark the ground floor. The central opening handled horse traffic, while the side openings served the carriage elevator and stable offices. The old Claremont name remains in the brickwork above the upper windows.
