NYFE Summary

The church supported civil rights, opposed the Vietnam War and later advocated for same-sex marriage. God’s Love We Deliver prepared meals in its kitchen for people with AIDS, and the building also housed theater work.

The earlier chapel was enlarged and wrapped in red sandstone to match a new main church. Heavy round arches, broad gables and a tall corner tower give both sections a shared front. The tower’s roof curves outward near its base.
